Sarah OS is a private tool used by a single operator to organise her own work. This policy describes what it accesses, why, where it is kept, and how to stop it.
There is exactly one user: the operator who owns the application and the Google Accounts it connects to. Sarah OS has no other users, no sign-up, and no customers. It never processes data belonging to anyone who has not personally authorised their own account.
The application requests one Google permission, and only one:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly — read-only access to Gmail.
This allows it to read messages and message metadata in mailboxes the operator has explicitly connected. It is used to identify commitments, deadlines and items awaiting a reply.
Where Google Calendar and Google Drive are connected, they are likewise accessed read-only, to read the operator's own schedule and documents.
The application does not request, and therefore cannot use, permission to send, reply to,
forward, compose, label, archive, mark, move or delete any message. Permissions such as
gmail.send, gmail.compose and gmail.modify are not
requested. It cannot create, alter or delete calendar events.
No data obtained from Google APIs is sold, rented, or shared with any third party. It is not used for advertising, not used to train any model, not transferred to any data broker, and not disclosed to any other person or service.
Sarah OS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data is retained only while it remains useful to the operator, and is deleted by the operator at her discretion. Because all storage is local to the operator's own machine and private accounts, deleting the local data removes it entirely.
Access can be withdrawn at any time, without contacting anyone, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately and permanently stops all further reading of the account.
The application is not directed to children and is not used by anyone under 13.
